Steve Melvin was raised in Belton, Texas and received a BA with a concentration in Biblical languages from Concordia Senior College in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and a Masters of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.  Over the more than forty-five years he has served pastorates in Indiana, Iowa, and Texas while at the same time starting and/or administering and teaching in multiple Christian schools.

 

Steve enjoys writing, discipling/counseling the Lord’s people, his daughter’s family (which includes her husband and six grandchildren) and caring for his 97 year old mother,  However, most importantly of all, he is thankful to God for the incarnation, death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus, through whom he has lived such a blessed life and can anticipate the heavenly life that is to come.
